Pretty Pink Posh
January 14, 2020
Good Morning Friends and Welcome to Day 2 of the Pretty Pink Posh Blog Hop! We have lots to Celebrate- there is a new release that you are going to love, along with prizes, a sale and tons of fun and inspiration being shared for the 3 day blog hop. This is such a great release, full of stamps, dies and stencils, perfect for all of your Valentine and Birthday projects! I can't wait to share everything I have created with all of you.
For today's post, I created two cards. Let's get started with the first one...
I started my card by ink blending my background panel. I used Distress Oxide Ink in Carved Pumpkin, Mowed Lawn and Salty Ocean. I spritzed my background with a little water and set it aside to dry. Next, I stamped the adorable lion from the Party Animal Stamp Set in a Copic friendly black ink and colored it with Copic markers. I then used the Party Animal Coordinating Dies to cut it out. This is such a great set!!
I die cut the Birthday Frame from white cardstock and attached it to my ink blended background. I then added my lion along with my sentiment to my card from with foam adhesive. Lastly, I added a few Sparkling Clear Jewels to my card front.

Now for my next card... Lots of glitter and sparkle! I am so excited that the Pretty Pink Posh online shop will be carrying Glitz Glitter Gel and other supplies from Therm O Web.
I started my card by spraying the back of the Birthday Background Stencil with Pixie Spray from Therm O Web. For a detailed stencil, such as this, the Pixie Spray helps to hold the stencil in place and helps to create the crisp sharp white lines. I then used a palette knife and applied Glitz Glitter Gel in Turquoise Sea to my card panel. Once you remove the stencil you are left with a gorgeous background. The Glitz Glitter Gel washes off the stencil easily, you just want to make sure you wash it before it dries.
Next, I die cut the Balloon Shaker Die from white cardstock. I then traced the die onto a piece of vellum and attached that to the back of my balloon before attaching it to my card front. Lastly, I tied I piece of baker's twine to my balloon for the string. I hope I inspired you to give the Glitz Glitter Gel a try, you will Love it!
I hope you enjoyed my cards today. There is a lot to Celebrate!
