Trinity Stamps Blog Hop

New Release

January 24, 2020

Good Morning Friends and Welcome! I am so excited to be participating in my first blog hop for Trinity Stamps!! We are celebrating their New Release with lots of fun and inspiration! You should of arrived here from the wonderful post of Davina Cantrell, and your next stop will be the YouTube channel of Elyse Hope Designs

For my card today, I decided to make a Valentine's Day card using the new Monster Love stamp and die set. This is such a fun set with so many possibilities. I can't wait to use it for a little boy's birthday card!

I started my card by stamping my monsters from the Monster Love Stamp Set in a Copic friendly black ink. I then used my Copic markers and did all of my coloring. Next, I used the Monster Love Coordinating Dies and die cut all of my images.

I also stamped and die cut the fun little conversation hearts included in the set. They are so cute and there are lots of possibilities for layering as there is a variety of heart dies included in the set. They are the perfect little accent or make a fun Valentine background on their own too.

For my card design, I used the Slimline Card Series: Stitched Card Panels and Windows. I am in Love with these dies!! They make the perfect background for your slimline card panel. There are a few different dies in this series... I think I "need" them All! I die cut my cardstock and layered it onto my card base. My finished card measures 3.5 x 8.5 inches and fits in a standard sized business envelope. Trinity Stamps also sells Slimline Envelopes in a rainbow pack, how fun?? I see a lot of slimline cards in my future.

Once my layers were attached to my card panel I added my monsters and hearts with a little foam adhesive to finish my card.
