With Love

Pretty Pink Posh

January 27, 2020

Good Morning Friends and Happy Monday! I hope you all had a Wonderful weekend. Ric has been out of town for a few days this past week, so I spent some time at home being crafty. I will be going out of town later this week to spend a few days at the Whatever Craft House and to say the least I am very excited!! It will be a weekend of stamping, crafting and hanging out with some online friends...it should be a lot of fun and I hope to share it with all of you when I get back home. If you follow me on Instagram I will definitely being adding bits of my weekend to my stories. I hope you can follow along.
Today, I am sharing two cards for Pretty Pink Posh. Have you received your order from the New Release? What is your favorite? I always love the stencils and today's cards are fairly quick to create with the new Layered Hearts Stencils.

For my first card, I started by creating a fun and colorful background.

I began by using the first stencil, along with dye ink to ink blend the hearts onto Bristol smooth cardstock.

Next, I laid the second stencil onto my card panel and ink blended the next set of colors. Such a fun result you get when you combine the two stencils together. I love the overlapping of colors!

To finish my card, I die cut the With Love Shaker Die from white cardstock and attached it to a piece of vellum. I then attached this to my card panel.

For my next card...

I started by adding Distress Oxide Ink in Spun Sugar to a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock. I then used the Layered Hearts Stencils to add Distress Oxide Ink in Worn Lipstick and Picked Raspberry to my card panel. I love how two stencils are included in this set, adds to lots of possibilities. Once I added my darker pink layered I decided they were a little "too bright" so I went over my whole card panel with Spun Sugar again. This helped to "mute" down my colors and blend everything together.

Next, I die cut the Love Shaker Die from white cardstock and attached this to my card panel. Lastly, I added a few jewels from the Valentine Jewels Mix to my front.

Thanks for joining me today. I hope I inspired you to give the stencils a try.

Enjoy your day,
