Sending Hugs

PinkFresh Studio

March 22, 2020

Good Morning Friends! How are you all doing? Hanging in there? A couple of days ago, I was having a hard time getting anything done...just not motivated and the uncertainty was getting to me. I knew that wasn't a place I wanted to be for long, so I got out a stamp set and just created some cards for fun. I actually ended up putting them in the mail today, and I hope they bring a smile to a few friend's faces. I have a few local "older" friends that I have been checking in on (through texting) but I thought they could probably use a little "happy mail" too.

I fell in love with the PinkFresh Studio Curvy Floral Vine Set while at Stamping Away a few month ago. I made this card while there:

As soon as I got home, I ordered the set from Butterfly Reflections, Ink. I know Vanessa is staying home and not at the shop right now, but I also know she would greatly appreciate any sort of business you can give her right now. These times are so stressful for all of us, but I am worried about our crafting community and our friends that own small businesses. We need to support them, if we can, so then when all of this is over they are still there for all of us.

My next two cards are very similar, I just changed the colors. In all honesty I could of made this card over and over...it was very relaxing to just stamp.

For my sentiment, I used the Phrase Builder Sending Die Set. This is such a great set of dies. I love the font and the shadow! Don't you just love that glittered cardstock? It is from Memory Box, Delicate Pastel Glitter Pad.

On this card, I just rotated my floral vines and stamped my flowers in shades of orange. For my sentiment, I used the Memory Box, Twinkling Jewel Glitter Pad. This glittered cardstock cuts like a dream!  I highly recommend it.

Thanks for joining me today. I hope I inspired you to pull out some stamps and create a few cards just for fun. I also plan to send out more "happy mail" over the next few weeks. I think it is a great way to put a smile on someone's face. If you would like to receive a card from me, leave me your address...either here in the comments or through my email (danakirby4@gmail.com), and I will get one off to you soon!
Take Care My Friends!
Enjoy your day,
