Let's Flamingle

Pink & Main

July 10, 2020

Happy Friday Friends! I hope you all had a great week. Today I am on the Pink & Main Blog sharing a card that uses their fun new stamp set called Let's Flamingle. This is such a fun stamp set and perfect for summer! I also used some inspiration from The Card Concept challenge to create my card.

I started my card by stamping the flamingo and leaves with a Copic friendly black ink and coloring them with Copic markers. I then used the Let's Flamingle coordinating dies to cut them out.

For my card layout, I used the Warped Stencil to create my pattern on the left. I ink blended Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Ink onto a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock and then laid the stencil on top and added Mowed Lawn ink. Once I was finished I spritzed my panel with water and set it aside to dry. I then trimmed down a white panel and splattered a little black paint onto it. To finish my card, I attached my images with foam adhesive and stamped and embossed my sentiment.

Here is the inspiration photo for The Card Concept Challenge.

I chose to create my card in the Clean and Layered category. I used clean lines with a few accents. My card is clean and fresh looking with one colored image and lots of white space. I hope I inspired you to come and play along.

Thanks for joining me today and I will be back soon to share another project with you all.

Enjoy your day,
