You Lift Me Up

Good Morning and Happy Monday! I hope you all had a nice weekend and a Happy 4th of July. Today I am on the Trinity Stamps Blog sharing a card that uses their adorable You Lift Me Up set. 

I started my card by stamping the adorable little bear and a variety of balloons from the You Lift Me Up Stamp Set. I then colored them with Copic Markers. Next, I used the You Lift Me Up Die Setto die cut all of my images. I also stamped and die cut my sentiment. I love how there are coordinating dies for the sentiments included in the set.

For my background, I used the Slimline Scenic Border Cloud Dieto create a stencil. I laid the stencil onto my card panel and added Peacock Feather Distress Oxide Ink. I moved the stencil up my card panel adding ink as I went along. I then ran the Cloud Border Die through my die cutting machine again to create my white cloud borders. Because this die is made for a slimline card I was able to create my top and bottom border with one pass through my die cutting machine. Lastly, I stamped my balloon strings onto my card panel and attached my stamped images with foam adhesive.
