Ink To Paper
Release Countdown Day 1
September 11, 2020
Hi Friends and Welcome to the Day 1 of the Release Countdown for Ink To Paper. I am so excited to be a guest designer again this month...and it is a Christmas release, which is my favorite!! There will also be some amazing fall products showcased too. Remember all of the New Release products will be available on September 15 at 10:00 PM EST in the Ink To Paper store. You can also find all of the release information and product details on the Ink To Paper Blog.
For my first card today, I am using the super fun set called The Joy of Noel. I started my card by doing all of my stamping. I used Pure Poppy and New Leaf ink and coordinating paper. I mounted my letters onto a white panel that I had added score lines to. I thought the score lines helped my panel look like a letter board. What do you think?
There is a star stamp and die included in the set. I die cut the star from red glittered cardstock and mounted it in the middle of my wreath. I used a string stamp that is included in another set being released (more information about this set tomorrow) to anchor my star in the middle. Everything was attached with foam adhesive.
For my next card, I am using the gorgeous new Starflakes Die set. These dies cut the most amazing snowflakes.
I started my card by running the dies through my die cutting machine with Pure Poppy, Green Parakeet and Blueberry Sky cardstock. Originally I was going to cover the whole panel with the snowflakes, but at the last minute I decided to trim it down and create a panel for the center of my card. I love how these dies can be overlapped and inlaid back together to create some unique designs.
To finish my card, I used the Just Sentiments: Warmth Stamp Set to stamp my sentiment. Such a sweet little stamp set with the perfect sentiments.
Thanks for joining me today. Remember you will find all of the product details on the Ink To Paper Blog. Stop back by tomorrow for Day 2 of the Release Countdown.
