The Greetery

Autumn Blessings

September 21, 2020

Hi Friends and Happy Monday! I finally had a chance to use a few things I bought from the last release at The Greetery. And once again...Betsy did not disappoint.

My card is mostly all die cutting with no stamping other than my sentiment. I started my card, by die cutting a variety of images from the BotaniCuts Might Oak Die Set and the BotaniCuts Toadstool Garden Die Set. I die cut them from Bristol Smooth Cardstock and used my Distress Oxide sponges and fall colors of ink. I used a variety of colors and my sponges had a lot of ink build up, so my colors are not true to the ink pads I was using.

Next, I die cut my background with the Shiplap Builder Die. I ran it though my die cutting machine two times to have enough pieces to create my card panel. For my sentiment, I used the Bittersweet Bouquet Set

To finish my card, I added some black and white paint splatters to all of my die cuts. Once everything was dry I began to assemble my card. I used liquid glue for most of assembly, this allowed me a few extra seconds to get everything placed on my card panel correctly.

What do you think? I am in love with these dies...I am already working  on a few more cards with them.

Thanks for joining me today. I will be back soon with another project to share.

Enjoy your day,
