Merry & Bright
MFT Stamps
I started by card by creating my background. I used MFT cardstock in a variety of fun colors. I used my paper trimmer and cut strips. I lined my strips up on a piece of copy paper and then trimmed my panel down to give it a clean edge.
Next, I used the "Must Have" Very Merry and Bright Die-namics to create my panel. I love the bold and graphic design of this die, so fun!! I attached my panel to my striped background with foam adhesive to give it a little dimension.
I just love the colors peeking out from behind the white panel! I hope you give this technique a try.
For my next card, I once again cut strips with the same colors as before. This time I cut them a little thinner and attached them to the middle of my card mat.
Thanks for joining me today! And Thank You to MFT Stamps for having me as a guest for their new release!! It has been so much fun and a true honor. Don't forget to go check out all of the other products that are part of the release...there are so many "must have" products. It is an amazing release! Here is a link: New Release

Hi Friends! I am so excited to be a guest designer for MFT Stamps!! Yeah! I have been a huge fan of MFT Stamps for years. So when I received an email a few weeks ago asking me to be a guest for their new release, I couldn't say Yes quick enough. All the new products are so fun and you will love the New Release. I created two festive cards to share today, but make sure you stop by the MFT Blog as there will be lots of inspiration.
I then created a little "scene" for the center of my card. I ink blended Distress Oxide Ink in Peacock Feathers to a rectangle. I used the new Mini Merry Messages Stamp Set to stamp my sentiment directly onto the panel. Next, I used the die included in the Flurry of Love Die Set to create my snowbank. Lastly, I stamped and colored my images from the Polar Opposites Set.
Thanks for joining me today! And Thank You to MFT Stamps for having me as a guest for their new release!! It has been so much fun and a true honor. Don't forget to go check out all of the other products that are part of the release...there are so many "must have" products. It is an amazing release! Here is a link: New Release
