Pretty Pink Posh

Good Morning Friends! I hope you all are doing well and having a great week. I shared this card on the Pretty Pink Posh Blog the other day, though I also wanted to share it here on my own blog. 

I started my card by creating an alcohol ink background. I used a rainbow of colors and yupo paper. Once my panel was dry I ran it through my die cutting machine with the Bold Butterflies Die. Don't you just love this butterfly? It is so fun and I love all the possibilities with this type of die.

For my card layout, I splattered a white panel with a little black reinker. I then used the Scallop Border Die to create the decorative edge at the bottom of my white panel. Next, I used a leftover piece of my alcohol ink paper for the bottom of the card. To finish my card, I stamped my sentiment from the Simple Sentiments Stamp Set and heat set it with white embossing powder. Lastly, I attached my butterfly and sentiment to my card panel with foam adhesive.
