Joy To The World
Pretty Pink Posh
December 23, 2020
Good Morning Friends and Happy (almost) Christmas! I am stopping by today with my last Christmas card of the season for Pretty Pink Posh. I always feel like I run out of time and I don't get to use all of the Christmas sets that I had planned to use... the Joy set from Pretty Pink Posh has been sitting on my desk for a few weeks now and I was determined to use it before Christmas passed. Did you have a chance to get everything created like you had planned? I say this every year- but I need to start working on my Christmas projects earlier in the year. There just isn't enough time to use everything and I feel bad putting sets away that haven't yet been used.
I started my card by stamping the Joy letters in VersaMark ink and heat setting them with white embossing powder. Next, I ink blended ink directly onto the letters to quickly give them color. This is such a fun and easy technique to use when you are not wanting to take the time to color. I then stamped and colored the little images (Santa hat and holly) with Copic markers and used the Joy dies to cut them out.
Next, I used the Stitched Strips Die to make my strips for my card panel. I then attached the strips to my white card panel. Lastly, I added my Joy letters and small images to my card front with foam adhesive.
Thanks for joining me today. I want to wish all of you a Very Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year. I am praying for a year of peace, healing and good health. Although our Christmas will look a little different this year, the reason for celebrating is still the same. Wishing you all a joyful holiday season. Take care my friends and I will be back soon to share another project with you all.
Merry Christmas,
