The Greetery
Christmas Eve
December 3, 2020
Good morning! I am stopping by today with a couple of cards that use the Christmas Eve set from The Greetery. I had purchased this set last year and I am just now using it for the first time. Do you ever do that? I hope I am not the only one...
I started my card by doing all of my stamping. I used the Christmas Eve Set for all of my images. This set is just so pretty! For my sentiment I used the Written in Ribbons Holiday Set. I love how well these two sets work together.
I ink blended soft blue ink to create my background. I then splattered a little white paint all over my card elements to create "snow". Lastly, I attached my images to my card panel to create my scene.
While I had everything in my Misti to stamp, I went ahead and stamped a second set of images.
This time I used soft pastel colors for all of my images. I ink blended my background and once again splattered a little paint over my background to resemble snow. In all honesty, I wish I would of used white paint like I had before. This was a metallic paint and although I like it in "real life" it didn't photograph very well and it looks kind of dark.
I hope you enjoyed my cards today. I am so glad I finally had a chance to use this set, it is so pretty! I hope I inspired you to pull out one of those sets you haven't used yet, you will be so glad when you do.
Enjoy your day,
Hi Dana! I’ve been missing in action but after our many out of state family members left, I’ve been busy, busy, busy. Finally my Christmas cards are finished, tree is up, decorations out and shopping almost finished. Woo-hoo! Back to visiting my favorite bloggers, I just love these beautiful cards. Such a beautiful set! I love how you used both pastel and brighter colors- lovely designs!! Hope all is well with you and your family and you’re enjoying some of the holiday cheer! Thank you as always for sharing your lovely work! 😊💖
