Pretty Pink Posh

January 31,  2021

Hello Friends! I hope you all are doing well and enjoying your weekend. I am stopping by today with a fun little project for Valentine's Day and to also remind you that today is the last day for Valentine Theme Week at Pretty Pink Posh. Everything in the Valentine Category is 15% off and today is the final day for the sale. So if you are wanting to place an order make sure and get it in today! Although my girls are grown I still like to send them a treat or two for the different holidays. Everyone loves to get a little "surprise" in the mail and what better than candy and a gift card!

I started my project by stamping the adorable little monkeys from the Valentine Circles Stamp Set. I colored the images with my Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I love how there is a scalloped backer included with the circle die. It adds the perfect little touch.

Next, I created a paper rosette to attach behind my images. I added a little glitter around the edges of the rosette and attached it to a band that will slide on and off of my little box.

For my gift card, I die cut the Stitched Gift Card Holder to create my backer. This is a must have die in my opinion. It creates the perfect backer to hold a gift card and requires no adhesive to hold everything in place.

To tie everything together, I wrapped my candies (Hershey's Nuggets) with coordinating pattern paper. To wrap your candy you need to cut you paper by 1x3 inches. I used a glue dot to attach the paper to the wrapper. The candies fit perfectly inside a little nugget tin that I had in my stash. Also, I wanted to mention that my patterned paper is from Doodlebug Design. I love their small prints and colors, perfect for a little craft such as this.
I hope you enjoyed my project today. Will you be making Valentine treats to share with your friends and family? I hope I inspired you to create a few, it was a lot of fun.

Enjoy your day,

    1. Thank you Dorothy. The love is a target gift card...I agree, it would make an adorable stamp though. I hope you had a wonderful weekend.
