Ink To Paper

New Release: Countdown Day 2

February 17, 2021

Hi friends and welcome back to day 2 of the new release countdown for Ink To Paper. I am back today with two cards that use some of the amazing new floral sets that are part of the new release. Remember all of the new release product details can be found on the Ink To Paper Blog and will be available on February 20th.  Let's get started...

My first card uses the beautiful new set called Pop-Up Florals. This set coordinates with the Pop-Up Envelope Die though can also work on it's own. This is a really fun interactive set that can make the flowers "pop-up" though I chose to leave my flowers flat for this card.

I started my card by stamping my flowers in bright springy colors. For my card panel, I ink blended Blueberry Sky ink onto my background. Next, I added a few splatters with the Blueberry Sky reinker. Once this was dry I attached my flowers to create a bouquet. I added lots of foam adhesive for added dimension.

For my sentiment I used the Just Sentiments: Bloom set. I stamped my sentiment onto a banner and attached it to my card panel. I then added a few clear sequins to finish my card.

I also wanted to show you how easy it is to create a coordinate envelope with the dies. All you need is three strips of adhesive to assemble your envelope, super easy. I can't wait to use this set again to create a pop-up card.

My next card uses the Lush Bloom Set. This set creates the most beautiful flower! I love the detail and the size, so pretty. I started my card by stamping the floral image in shades of pink (Sweet Blush, Hibiscus Burst and Raspberry Fizz). Once my flowers was assembled I attached it to my card panel that I had splattered with Hibiscus Burst reinker. Lastly, I added to my sentiment to the card panel. I kept everything fairly clean and simple. I know this is a set I will reach for often.

To finish my card, I used the Inside Greetings: Bloom Set to stamp my sentiment inside my card. This is such a great set of sentiments, perfect for so many occasions. Lastly, I added a few leaves from the Lush Bloom Set to tie everything together.

Thanks for joining me today. I hope you liked my cards and please feel free to ask any questions and I will get back to you. I will be back tomorrow with day 3 of the countdown.

Enjoy your day,
