Pretty Pink Posh

Good Morning Friends! I hope you all had a wonderful Easter. It is one of my favorite holidays and definitely one of great importance to me and my family. This past year has been full of challenges, though we still have so much to be thankful for.  I always think of Easter as a time of new life and new beginnings so this year seemed a little extra special to all of us. Many of us in my immediate family have received our Covid vaccines and we felt a little safer and were able to celebrate together. I hope you and your family are doing well and staying healthy too.

Let's get started with today's card... I used a few supplies from Pretty Pink Posh and created a fun shaker card. I started my card by using the Butterfly Background Stencil to create my card panel. I love the detail of this stencil. I played around with it for a bit and actually created two panels. Which do you prefer? I went with the pink, yellow and green but I had a hard time deciding.

Next, I created my shaker. I used the large Scallop Frame Die to create my frame. I attached a piece of acetate behind the frame and added foam strips around the edges for dimension. To fill my shaker I used the Sherbet Clay Confetti Mix. I thought the colors coordinated well with my card panel.

To finish my card I stamped some butterflies and my sentiment with the Mom Set. Lastly, I attached the images to the acetate to finish my card.
