Pretty Pink Posh

April 16, 2021

Good morning friends! I hope you all are doing well. I am stopping by today with a Mother's Day card for Pretty Pink Posh.

I started my card by creating my card panel with the Pretty Petals Background Die. I die cut the background from a rainbow of colors and inlaid the pieces back into the frame. I love this technique and this die is easy to use because the openings are a nice size. I made a Mother's Day card but this technique and background will work perfectly for lots of occasions.

For my sentiment I used the Mom Script Die. I die cut it from white and gray cardstock. I stacked the two together and off set the gray to create a shadow. For my sentiment strip I used the Mom Stamp Set. I stamped Happy Mother's Day onto a black strip of cardstock and added white embossing powder.

Thanks for joining me today.  I hope I inspired you to create an inlaid background with a cover plate. It is a lot of fun and great way to stretch your dies.

Enjoy your day,

  1. This has to be a very therapeutic process and it turned out so pretty. I can think of loads of colors combos. Speaking of Moms, I don’t know about you but I sure miss seeing our family. My hubby and I have 4 children ( 3 girls and 1 son) and I sure miss them. So we’re staying very busy, like building a bird sanctuary for all the mama birds & company. Living in a tropical climate, we see baby birds a little earlier than the rest of the country. So here’s to all the Moms out there including our Feathered friends. PS I guess I got a little carried away with ‘Mom’! 😊
