Reverse Confetti

Hi friends and welcome back to day 3 of the Countdown to Confetti! All of the new products will be available tomorrow, November 8th at Reverse Confetti. It's such a fun release and I hope you have enjoyed all of the projects and inspiration that the design team has shared over the last few days.

My first card uses the beautiful new Adore Him set. I started my card by stamping my images and coloring them with Copic markers. I then used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

For my card panel, I used the new Brilliance Cover Plate. This dies makes the perfect background for a nativity scene though also can be used the so many other card designs too. I ink blended my background with Distress Oxide ink in Chipped Sapphire and Faded Jeans ink. I then splattered it with a little gold and silver paint.

To finish my card, I stamped my sentiment onto a piece of vellum and heat set it with gold embossing powder. Lastly, I attached my images with foam adhesive.

For my next card, I began by again using the Brilliance Cover Plate to make my card panel. I then used the new Ornament die to make a shaker in the center of my panel. This is such a fun die and I love how easy it is to use when making a shaker.

Next, I used the new Polar Party set to stamp the adorable polar bear. I colored it with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut it out. Lastly, I attached the bear along with the sentiment to my card with foam adhesive.

Thanks for joining me today. I hope you enjoyed my projects and I will be back tomorrow with the blog hop for the release!

  2. The simple stable, the starry sky, Jesus and His family...I love this so much. You ladies have encouraged me to make cards that really focus on Jesus' birth---the real and only reason for Christmas :)
