New Release Countdown: Day 1

It’s day 1 of the new release countdown for Papertrey Ink. All of the new products will be available December 22nd. This release is so fun, perfect for all of your thinking of you, love and valentine type cards. There is something for everyone.

My first card uses the new Into the Blooms: Pansies die set. I love these floral dies and this set is the perfect addition. I ink blended the petals and leaves with Amethyst Allure and Green Parakeet ink. 

Next, I used the new Cover Plate: Elegance to emboss my card panel. I love how you can you this die to cut a panel or emboss, works great both ways. I then attached my pansy to the center of the panel. For my sentiment I used the Perfect Pairs: Commodities set.  Lastly, I used the Border Bling: Skinny Stitched Frame to finish my card. 

My next card uses the new Feathered Friends 18 set. This set includes two birds, a branch, a nest and some leaves and berries. I love the added details included in the set.

Once I did all of my stamping I used the Border Bling Skinny Heart Frame die to create my frame. I ink blended clouds on the inside panel and attached both pieces to my A2 card base. 

Next, I used the Delicate Doilies die. I stamped my sentiment from the new Just Sentiments: Thinking of You set onto the doily and attached it to my card panel. Lastly, I attached my birds and branch to my card panel with foam adhesive.
