New Release Countdown: Day 3

Happy Monday and Happy Christmas week. I can’t believe Christmas will be here by the end of the week. This season has flown by… I wish I had more time to finish creating all of the holiday projects that I had intended to. Between the house getting remodeled, life in general and a thousand other things I honestly just ran out of time. I don’t know if I should start Christmas projects earlier or what the answer, is but it always makes me sad to put away sets that I never used. Do you have this problem? I feel like I am organized but Christmas always gets here in a rush.

My first project today uses the darling new With Love set. This set makes the most adorable mailbox, perfect for Valentine’s Day but will be so cute for other occasions too!! The bottom of the box measures 2.75 x 2.75 inches so it is a nice size to hold a treat, gift card etc.

I started my mailbox by die cutting the large die two times with Aqua Mist cardstock. I then used the With Love set to stamp all of the fun little images to decorate the front of the mailbox. This set is packed full of images to decorate letters, envelopes, etc. So Cute!

There is even a mail slot that you can die cut to tuck little letter into. I did it on the front but it would also be so cute at the top of the box. Once I had my box assembled I closed the top with some Pure Poppy and Sweet Blush ribbon. Lastly, I decorated a little clothespin and attached it to the top of my box for a fun little accent.

My next card uses the new Jar Accessories set. This is another add-on type set that coordinates with the previous released Mason Jar dies

I started my card by ink blending Hawaiian Shores ink onto the medium size mason jar. I then did all of my stamping and die cutting with the Jar Accessories set. There are so  many possibilities with this set.

Next, I ink blended my card panel with Sweet Blush ink. I then ran the panel through my die cutting machine with the Border Bling: Tin Stitch die. I added a few splatters with white paint and sweet blush ink and then set it aside to dry. I then used the XO Heart Frame die to die cut my wreath from vellum. Once everything was attached to my card panel I used the Border Bling: Skinny Stitched Frame die to create my frame for my card.

Thanks for joining me today. Please feel free to ask any questions and I will get back to right away. Have a great day and I will be back tomorrow with day 4 of the countdown.

Enjoy your day,
