Papertrey Ink

New Release Countdown: Day 4

Hi friends! Today is the final day of the Countdown for Papertrey Ink. All of the new products will be available tomorrow night, December 22 at 10 pm EST in the online shop. Today I have two cards to share, so let’s get started.

My first card uses the new Vase Collection 6 set to create my decorative pail to hold my bouquet. Next, I used the new Towering Stems set to create my bouquet. This is such a gorgeous set. There is also a wrap type stamp and die that creates the paper the goes around a bouquet. It reminds me of the wrapping around flowers when you buy them at a market. I can’t wait to give this a try but I honestly ran out of time.

Next, I used the Border Bling: Postage Frame to create my card panel. I ink blended the center piece with Hawaiian Shores ink and inlaid the two pieces back together. For my sentiment I used the Essential Sentiments set. I attached all of my stamped images to my card panel with foam adhesive, then I added a few sequins as a final touch.

My next card uses the new Feathered Friends 18 die set. This month the dies create a peacock. I love all of the detail and dimension the dies create!

For my peacock I used Tropical Teal, Hawaiian Shores and New Leaf ink. I ink blended all of the pieces and then assembled the peacock. I also added a few green jewels to the feathers for a little extra sparkle. 

For my card design, I ink blended New Leaf ink onto a rectangle and then added a frame that had been die cut with the Skinny Frames: Diagonal Border die. Next, I attached a few banners and my sentiment strip to the bottom of my frame. My sentiment is from the Just Sentiments: Just Because set. Lastly, I added my peacock to my card panel before attaching everything to an A2 card base.
