New Release Countdown: Day 2

Hi friends! I am back today with day 2 of the countdown for Papertrey Ink. Today we are using some fun products that have a little bit of a masculine feel to them. I created two card and kept my designs clean and simple.

My first card uses the new Scene Everywhere: At The Lake set. This sets includes all the images to make a peaceful lake scene. I stamped the background and sentiment directly onto my card panel and then used the dies for just the pier and the boat. 

To finish my card I added a frame that had been die cut with the Border Bling: Skinny Stitched Frame die. I always struggle with masculine cards and I love how this one turned out. I know this is a set I will use often.

My next card uses the new Captivating Cattails set along with the Vase Collection 9 set. I used an oval masking stencil and blueberry sky ink to create my card panel. I then attached my cattails and barrel to the panel with foam adhesive. Lastly, I stamped my sentiment directly onto the panel. 

That is all for today... two cards that were easy but fun to create!
