Spellbinders

Stitched Joy

Have you started your Christmas cards this year? Or is it still too early? I am excited to be a guest for Spellbinders and sharing a few Christmas cards for their Christmas in July release. I always look forward to seeing what the companies are releasing for the holiday season.  You will love the Christmas release from Spellbinders.  It is packed full of amazing Christmas products to get you started with all of your Christmas crafting.

I created four cards to share today and they are all very similar. I used the Stitched Joy die for my main image. I die cut a few different bases and did all of my stitching while in the car. Stitching is so easy to pack and you don't need a lot of supplies. I love that you can take it on the go.

For my stitching I used 3 strands of DMC floss in a variety of colors. Once I got home I added the word JOY to each of my bases and finished my cards.

For my sentiments, I used the Glitter Wishes Hot Foil Plates. I love the variety of sentiments that this set has. I foiled a variety of colors so I will have a nice stash of basic sentiments for all of my holiday cards.

Lastly, I used the Hand Drawn Scallops Embossing Folder for my card base. I love the subtle detail that the embossing folder provides. I think it is a nice touch without taking away from the stitching.

Thanks for joining me today and I hope you enjoyed my cards. Please feel free to ask any questions and I will get back to you right away. I hope I inspired you to give stitching dies a try. They truly are a lot of fun and so easy to use.

Enjoy your day,
