Poshta Design

Hi friends! I have a fun "new to me" project to share with you this week!! I was invited by Lizzie to help introduce the new release coming to Poshta Design on Saturday, October 1st at noon Eastern time. As you know, Poshta Design makes the most amazing stitching dies and felt kits. This new release is packed full of the most amazing products for all of your holiday crafting!! Make sure you stop by the Poshta Design blog for all the information and details.

Today we are introducing the Color Story Kits and the new Pocket Tag Die. There are four new Color Story Kits that will be available on October 1st: Cookie Party, Holly Hill, Rustic Cabin and Ski Lodge. My projects this week will be using the Ski Lodge collection which includes Seaspray, Cardinal, Pistachio, Pine Forest and Overcast felt along with coordinating beads, sequins and floss. There will also be individual felt colors available in: Toasted Oat, Lollipop, Ripe Raspberry and Sprout.

The new Pocket Tag die is so versatile and it's the perfect way to give a gift card (or cash) this holiday season. I started my tag by die cutting all of my felt pieces with the Color Story kit. The dies are high quality and well designed. Everything cuts cleanly and easily with one pass through my standard die cutting machine.

Next, I added a scalloped edge and a message onto my pocket. These steps are totally optional, but I think they had a fun touch! Once my pocket was finished I tied a ribbon at the top and added a few jingle bells to finish it off.

For my next set of tags, I used cardstock and fun bright colors. I die cut my pieces and added a snowflake to the center of my pocket. The snowflake die is part of a set being introduced in a day or so, but it coordinates perfectly with the tag. The sky is the limit on how you can decorate your pockets. There are so many possibilities!

I think the cardstock is a fun option for the tags and I love how easy they are to create. It's such a fun way to gift a gift card and I know it is a set of dies that I will use often.

Giveaway:

Poshta Design will be doing a giveaway on each introductory blog post for a $50 gift certificate to the website (for a total of 3 gift certificates) and one on the big reveal post for a free kit. Poshta Design will choose the winner from the blog comments on each of the introductory posts. The winner will be announced at 9am on Saturday 10/1 before the release goes live.

That is all of today but I will be back tomorrow with a few more projects to share with you all.

Enjoy your day,
