Reverse Confetti

Countdown to Confetti: Day 2

Hi friends and welcome back to day two of the countdown for Reverse Confetti. Today I have a fall and Christmas card to share with you all, so let's get started.

For my first card I am using the new Joy To The World die!! I am in love with this die. Dies like this are so fun to use and have so many possibilities. It will make such a fun shaker card! I deiced to die cut the large sentiment from a white panel and attach it to a panel that I created with colorful strips of cardstock.

So easy and fun to create! I love the colorful background and that the card is flat, perfect for mailing. This die is a "must have" and  I will definitely be using it again.

For my next card, I used the sprig of leaves from the Botanical set to create my rainbow frame. I die cut and stamped the sprigs in a rainbow of colors and attached them to a frame that I die cut with the Stitched Note & Frames die. Lastly, I used the new Gather Hot Foil Plate for my sentiment.

I also wanted to mention that the Fall Foliage set is being rereleased this month. I did not have the set to use today but it is a gorgeous fall set that the other designers will be using today.

  3. Hi, Dana - You could have fooled me for the second card. I would have guessed Laura "Fadora" Bassen - beautiful soft rainbow frame of leaves. So pretty! The first card is also fantastic - love those stripes. And you showed me an item that I had not really "seen" - maybe I had glanced at it but now I might "need" it. Yours is always one of my favorite stops on hops. Your mastery of this craft is appreciated and admired.
