Monster-Sized Birthday Wishes
MFT Stamps Sketch & Color Throwdown Challenge
Sunday, August 19, 2018
Hello! I hope you are having a Wonderful weekend. Our oldest daughter is home for a few days and our youngest is getting ready to leave for college...when did they grow-up? I will enjoy and savor these next few days.
I am sharing a card today that was so fun to create!!
These little Monsters from MFT Stamps are just the cutest!! I love how they are able to peek out of my die cut circles. I followed the sketch from MFT Stamps and also used the colors from the Color Throwdown Challenge. Here are the graphics in case you would like to play along:
Aqua, peach and light grey are not "typical colors" that I would choose, but I like how they work together for my card.
My card is also fairly flat, so perfect for mailing.
Supplies:
Stamp Set: MFT Stamps, Monster Love
Dies: MFT Stamps, Monster Love, Blueprints #13, Stitched Circle Stax
Paper: MFT Stamps and Papertrey Ink Cardstock
Ink: MFT Stamps, Gina K Designs, and Papertrey Ink
Enjoy You Day,
Dana
Happy Monday Dana. Wanted to say thank you for posting the color throw-down info. I can use lots of help to spark my creativity. I also like that you show the inks and companies they represent. Question.....how often do you try to put a card together only to be disappointed and then end up tossing it? Just wondering. 😛😫😦😕
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Sharon!! I definitely toss my share of cards...though I do try to lay it all out before I glue anything down. Do you participate in challenges? I find they help inspire me, or give me a place to start. There are a lot of them, so I definitely pick and choose. Some cards definitely turn out better than others. Thanks again ❤️
