MFT Stamps: Ombré

Today is my final post for MFT Stamps Summer School. I was able to complete all the challenges!! Good Luck to everyone that entered! My card today is for the Ombré challenge.

I used the MFT Stamps set All Smiles. I had started out by stamping the word Smile in Ombré colors (shades of aqua) but my card looked kind of "flat'. So I went ahead and used the word die to cut the word Smile out in shades of aqua.  Next, I stamped my sentiment (you make my heart) onto black cardstock with VersaMark ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.  I attached this with some foam adhesive to my card front. My card panel was cut with the Blueprints #27 scalloped edge die before it was attached to an A2 card.
