Summer School: Day 4
MFT Stamps: All About Rainbows
August 22, 2018
Happy Wednesday! I hope your week is going well!! Today I am sharing my card for the MFT Stamps Summer School (Day 4). Today's challenge was to incorporate a Rainbow in your card. Rainbow cards make me Happy, so this challenge was perfect!
I began my card by using the MFT Stamps, Abstract Art, stamp set. I chose one of the paint swipes and began stamping across the top of my card panel. I started in the center so I could make sure my colors fit all the way across. Next, I used the MFT Stamps, All About You, set. I stamped the word YOU in the center in Black ink. I used my MISTI so I could stamp over the word a few times and get a dark impression. I then used VersaMark ink and clear embossing powder so my word had some shine and really stood out. I finished stamping my sentiment and cut down my card front. I mounted my card front on some black patterned paper (Close To My Heart) and tied some Baker's Twine at the top.
Will you be making a Rainbow card for the Summer School Challenge at MFT Stamps?
