Lawn Fawnatics Challenge: Shaped Cards

November 26, 2018

Good Morning and Happy Monday! I am stopping by this morning to share a few tags I made for the Lawn Fawnatics: Shaped Card Challenge.

I worked on these over the weekend and finally had a chance to take a few photos. I have to admit, I struggle photographing shaker cards...let me know if you have any tips! I also had trouble with static this time.

I started with the Lawn Fawn: How You Bean? Shaker Add On die. I die cut my blue background from the Lawn Fawn: Perfectly Plaid Chill Paper Pack. I then die cut my top piece from red cardstock. Next, I used the Lawn Fawn: How You Bean stamp set to stamp the jar image.

For my scene I used the Lawn Fawn: Winter Village stamp and die set. I stamped, colored with Copic markers, and die cut all the houses. I then built my scene on my blue plaid background. Next, I die cut and layered two pieces of fun foam onto my background (jar) to give my shaker some dimension and room for movement. I filled my shaker with Diamond Dust and then added a piece of clear cardstock to close the shaker. Lastly, I added my red cardstock jar topped to finish the tag.

Once my tag was assembled, I used the Lawn Fawn: Reveal Wheel Holiday Sentiments to add my sentiment to the top of my jar. These little sentiments are perfect for adding a little message to a tag. I used red baker's twine to attach it to my jar and added a few small jingle bells for added details.

Supplies:
Stamps Sets: Lawn Fawn- How You Bean, Winter Village, Reveal Wheel Holiday Sentiments
Dies: Lawn Fawn- How You Bean? Shaker Add On, Winter Village
Paper: Lawn Fawn- Perfectly Plaid Chill, MFT Stamps- Cardstock
Other: Diamond Dust

Enjoy your day,
Dana
