Meant To Bee

MFT Stamps

February 16, 2019

Happy Saturday Friends! I am sharing a card today for the MFT Stamps: Sketch Challenge. As soon as I saw the sketch on Wednesday I knew what I wanted to do...love when that happens!! I pulled out my Meant To Bee stamp set and got busy (as a bee). The bees were delivered to our almond orchard last week so it seemed even more fitting to use this fun stamp set!

I started my card my using the MFT Stamps Cloud Stencil for my background. I love this stencil and use it a lot! For my ink blending I used Distress Oxide Ink in Mermaid Lagoon. I spritzed my background with water and set it aside to dry.
Next, I stamped my images, colored with Copics, and die cut with the coordinating dies. Then, I used the MFT Stamps: Stitched Circle STAX to die cut my circles from my background (following the sketch).
For my grass, I used the Lawn Fawn: Meadow Border die. I attached this to my card and added a piece of white cardstock for my sentiment. Lastly, I attached my images to my card front with foam adhesive.

To finish my card, I mounted my card panel onto an Orange Fizz mat before attaching it to my A2 card base.
