Papertrey Ink

February 17, 2019

Good Morning! Today, I have a set of cards for the Papertrey Ink: Win It Wednesday challenge. This is a new challenge to PTI and my first time playing along. Laurie Schmidlin is the host and this week she asked us to use our favorite PTI colored cardstock. My favorite cardstock...this definitely might change with the season, but today I am thinking Spring and choosing Aqua Mist.

Papertray Ink is having a sale right now, so I picked up a few stamps and dies that have been on my wishlist! It is a great time to shop!! I started my card by using the Frame It Out: Many Blessings Die. I die cut the wreath shape from a piece of white cardstock. I also bought the Gorgeous stamp set that coordinates with this die, though I love how you can use it alone too.

Next, I used the Penned Elegance stamp set to stamp my sentiment. The sentiments in this set are a beautiful script writing and they coordinate perfectly with the wreath. To finish my card, I attached my card panel to my A2 card base.

On these two cards, I used Mint Julep and Lilac Grace cardstock and ink. Such a quick and easy card to put together, but I am really happy with how they turned out. I will be making a few more with different sentiments as my card supply is getting low.

Supplies:
Stamp Set: Papertrey Ink- Penned Elegance
Die: PTI- Frame It Out, Many Blessings
Paper: PTI- Aqua Mist, Mint Julep and Lilac Grace
Ink: PTI

Enjoy your day,
Dana

  2. Dana,

What beautiful cards! I have shared them with friends who have this die already. I have been resisting getting this die ever since its release, but your cards have convinced me to get it on my next order.

    Thanks for the inspiration!
