Happy New Week Friends! I hope you all had a Wonderful weekend. Today I am sharing another card with the latest release from Technique Tuesday. This month I was sent the Animal House stamp set and it is a Cute one! Let's get started, shall we?

I started my card by stamping my images from the Ella & Edward the Elephants stamp set with Versa Fine Clair pigment ink. I heat set clear embossing powder onto my stamped images and then used my Zig watercolor pens. Next, I used the Coordinating Dies to die cut my images. 

For my card design, I die cut the Essential Stitched Label. I added Distress Oxide Ink in Salty Ocean for my sky. I then die cut another panel and used a hillside die to create my ground. I added Distress Oxide Ink in Mowed Lawn to this piece. Next, I stamped my sentiment and added clear embossing powder. Because the Distress Oxide Ink was still kind of "tacky" when I did this, the embossing powder stuck to it. I went ahead and heat set the whole panel, I liked the shine and texture that the embossing powder created. Kind of a fun "mistake".

To finish my card, I attached some black and white polka dot paper to a black mat. I then added a yellow striped piece of paper to the middle of my card. Lastly, I attached my stitched label with foam adhesive to the center of my card before attaching everything to my A2 card base.
