Autumn Sketches

The Greetery

October 2, 2019

Good Morning Friends! I am stopping by today to share a quick birthday card I created. My birthday stash was getting low and I have a few fall birthday coming up so I thought I would use the gorgeous Autumn Sketches Stamp Set to make a card.

I started my card by stamping the branches from the Autumn Sketches Stamp Set around the edges of my card. I didn't use the first layer of the branch as I felt the design was "busy enough" without it. I then filled in my card front with the single leaves and small bud. I used Gina K ink for all of my stamping. The colors are: Sweet Corn, Sweet Mango, Tomato Soup, Faded Brick, Warm Cocoa and Dark Chocolate.

Next, I stamped my sentiment from the Papertrey Ink set, Penned Elegance. I added a few specks on Perfect Pearls in Bronze to my stamped sentiment. I used the coordinating dies and die cut the happy birthday a few times and stacked them to give my sentiment some dimension. I then mounted my sentiment onto a vellum circle so it wouldn't get lost on my card panel.

I trimmed down my card panel and mounted into a Fresh Asparagus cardstock mat (Gina K) to finish my card.
Thanks for joining me today!
Enjoy your day,
Dana
