Trick or Treat

Lawn Fawn

October 31, 2019

Happy Halloween!! I hope you all have something fun planned for your day, and hopefully it includes a treat or two. We've never done a lot for Halloween. When are kids were young we would go to our school carnival, now Ric and I typically stay home. We live in the country, so we don't even have any trick or treaters.  Though, I still enjoy creating a few Halloween cards each year to send out to friends and little ones.
Today, I am playing along with the Lawn Fawnatics ChallengeI wanted to use my Spooky Village Stamp Set one last time before I put it away for the year. So I used the sketch as my inspiration and created my last Halloween card of the season.

I started my card by creating my scene. I cut a rectangle and added Distress Oxide Ink to create my sky. I then used the Stitched Tree Border Dies to create my tree line. Next, I stamped, colored and die cut the Spooky Village images. Lastly, I added few bats to the sky with black ink.

For my sentiment, I used the Spooktacular Stamp Set. I stamped it onto a die cut circle and tucked it under my panel. Next, I used the flags included in the Scalloped Box Pop-Up Die Set to create my banner. I attached all of my element to my card panel, following the sketch fairly closely:

Thanks for joining me today! I hope you all have a Happy and Safe Halloween!!
Enjoy your day,
Dana
