Critter Carolers

Ink To Paper

December 19, 2019

Good Morning Friends! I have something fun to share today...I was contacted by Ink To Paper (formerly, Papertrey Ink) a few weeks ago about being a guest designer for their latest release!! I said yes, of course!! My package arrived two days ago and I couldn't wait to get started. I have always been a big fan of Papertrey Ink, though with being on a few design teams I honestly haven't had time to create with their new products and follow along as closely with the new Ink to Paper releases. Let me tell you, their products are just as fun to create with, work so well together, and so thought out it was a joy to use them.

Most of the New Release is Valentine themed, but I was also sent the Critters Carolers Stamp and Die Set. I needed a few more treat boxes, so I went ahead and used this set first to make a few. I will be sharing a few Valentine projects with this set too. I love how you can use the Critter Love Mini Stamp Set to stretch the original stamp and die set.

I started by stamping my penguins and accessories in a Copic friendly black ink. I colored the accessories and used the Critter Carolers Die Set to cut them out. They are just so darn cute!!

Next, I used my most used die ever... the PTI Essential Pillow Box Die. If you don't have this die, you "need" it. It is the perfect size to fit a gift card or a small treat. I die cut it from Pure Poppy Cardstock and New Leaf Cardstock.

Next, I wrapped a piece of Bitty Big: True Black Color Collection polka dot paper around the center of my pillow box. I then tied a piece of coordinating ribbon around my boxes.

Lastly, I used some Pure Poppy Baker's Twine to attach my fun little penguins to my boxes.

I hope you enjoyed my project today! I will be back soon to share some cards using stamps and dies from the latest release at Ink to Paper.
Enjoy your day,
Dana
