Pretty Pink Posh

January 23, 2020

Hi Friends! Today I am on the Pretty Pink Posh Blog sharing some inspiration for Valentine Theme Week. I love creating for Valentine's Day and Pretty Pink Posh makes some of my favorite products. All the products in the Valentine Section at the Pretty Pink Posh site are 15% off this week, so it is the perfect time to buy a few new supplies!

I have two cards to share with you all, I mixed one of my favorite stamps sets from last year along with a favorite from the latest release. I love how these two sets work so well together. Let’s get satarted, shall we?

I started my first card by stamping the Large Floral Heart wreath in VersaFine Clair black ink and heat setting it with clear embossing powder. I then used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens to watercolor the flowers. (No. 025 PInk, No. 022 Carmine Red, No. 070 Orange and No. 047 May Green) Next, I used the Hearts Coordinating Dies to die cut the wreath.

For my card design, I used the Scallop Border Die Set to die cut my decorative edge. I added this to a piece of orange patterned paper and attached it to my A2 card base. Next, I stamped my sentiment from the Large Floral Hearts Stamp Set onto a banner and added this to my card front along with my die cut wreath. Lastly, I added a few sequins from the Flamingo Pink Jewels Mix to my card front.

My next card follows the same format as above, though this time I used the Floral Hearts Stamp Set

I stamped the wreath twice, watercolored the wreaths and used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

For this card layout, I used the straight Scallop Border Die. I die cut it from raspberry cardstock and attached it to my white card panel before attaching everything to my grass green patterned paper. I once again stamped my sentiment onto a banner and added a few jewels from the Flamingo Pink Jewel Mix to finish my card.

Thanks for joining me today! I hope you have some time to do a little shopping. Remember all of the products in the Valentine Section are 15% off this week!!

Enjoy your day,
Dana

  2. The heart wreath on both these sweet cards is so pretty and dainty, Dana ... and they're both just lovely! I'm especially taken with the first ... those tiny pops of colour against all that white space so appeal to my CAS loving heart! Thanks so much for your visit and kind words! Anita :)
