Let's Go Nuts
Lawn Fawn
September 25, 2020
Hi Friends! I hope you all are doing well and are ready for your weekend. I spent the better part of yesterday creating this card (shaking my head) and I am still not sure that I am totally happy with it. But I was determined to finish it and get some pictures taken before I started dinner last night. Also, sorry about my photos- the sun was disappearing and my pictures ended up being a little dark.
I started my card by doing all of my stamping with the Let's Go Nuts Set. I colored my images with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out.
For my card panel, I used the Leafy Tree Backdrop Die. I ink blended the tree with Distress Oxide Ink in Gathered Twigs. For my sky I used Chipped Sapphire ink. Originally, I was planning to use the Meadow Backdrop Die to create my scene...once I started working on my card I realized that wasn't going to work and I switched gears and decided to use the Leafy Tree Die. Since I had already die cut the Meadow die, I trimmed the grassy hill out and tucked it behind my tree to create my ground. I used Peeled Paint and Crushed Olive ink for my grass.
That is all for today. I need to go get our dinner made... I will be linking up my card for the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge Awesome Autumn. Have you had a chance to play along? It has been awhile for me.
Enjoy your day,
What a sweet card ... love their scarves!
