Taylored Expressions

October 16, 2020

Happy Friday Friends! I hope you all had a great week. I am stopping by today with a card for Taylored Expressions. I am using the new Seasonal Sprig set. I loved this set when it was released last week, but once I used it I am in love even more. It is definitely one of my favorite Christmas stamps so far this year.

It took me a minute to figure out the best way to use the stamp and the die together. Since it is red rubber, it was hard to line it up onto the die cut with the frame. I ended up cutting a panel a little larger than A2 size. I laid the die onto the panel and "guesstimated" the placement of the stamp. I stamped the holly and then lined up the die onto my panel and ran it through my die cutting machine. Since my panel was a little larger than A2 size I had some extra “wiggle” room to line it all up. I hope that makes sense, please feel free to ask any questions and I will do my best to answer them. Let me know if you would like me to walk you through the process with photos too.

Once I had it stamped and die cut I used the Seasonal Sprig Stencil to add my color... so quick and easy.

Next, I stamped my sentiment (also included in the Seasonal Sprig Stamp Set) and added a holly sprig at the bottom of my panel. Lastly, I attached the frame onto my panel with foam adhesive and added a few sequins as a finishing touch.

I hope you enjoyed my card today. I will be back tomorrow with a card for Butterfly Reflections, Ink. See you then...

Enjoy your day,

  1. Beautiful. What a cool die- frame and floral cut at once. I could see the challenge of making it but it's pretty incredible.
