Heffy Doodle

Merry & Bright

November 26, 2020

Good Morning Friends and Happy Thanksgiving! I am on the Heffy Doodle Blog today sharing a Christmas card that uses the adorable Santa's Village Set.

I started my card by stamping all of my images from the Santa's Village Stamp Set with a Copic friendly black ink. I then colored my images with Copic markers and used the Santa's Village Dies to cut them out.

I set my images aside and began working on my card panel. To create my sky I ink blended Distress Oxide Ink in Chipped Sapphire, Blueprint Sketch and Tumbled Glass onto a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock. I then added a few white splatters to my background and my images. Once the splatters were dry I inset the blended background behind my card panel and attached my images with foam adhesive.

Lastly, I used the Holiday Sentiment Duos Stamp Setto create my sentiment strip. I stamped it onto black cardstock with VersaMark ink and heat set it with white embossing powder. This is such a great set of sentiments, I love how it includes sentiments for both fall and winter holidays.

Thanks for joining me today and I hope you enjoyed my card. I also want to Thank Heffy Doodle for asking me to be a guest this month. It was a lot of fun and I am thankful for the opportunity. I hope you get a chance to check out their fun stamps and supplies, they are a great company.

Happy Thanksgiving my US friends. I hope you all have a Wonderful day,
