Good morning and welcome back to Day 3 of the New Release Countdown for Ink To Paper. Today the new Vintage Lantern Set is being showcased...I am in love with this set!
This set includes a gorgeous lantern and floral bouquet. I started my card by using the coordinating dies and my Misti to line up the stamps. The bouquet is super easy to line up and I love that all of the pieces are separate so you can add multiple colors.
For my card layout, I trimmed a piece of Pure Poppy cardstock down to make a mat. I then added score lines across the panel for a little added detail. Next, I used the Border Bling: Skinny Diagonals Frame Die to create my next layer. I ink blended Ocean Tides Ink onto the inside piece and attached it to the frame. To finish my card, I attached my images and sentiment along with a few clear sequins.
I hope you enjoyed my card. I think the lantern will make a really fun gift tag too. The opening at the top of the lantern is perfect for tying on a ribbon. I will be back tomorrow with another new release project.
