Ink To Paper

New Release: Countdown Day 4

February 19, 2021

Happy Friday! Welcome back to the fourth and final day of the new release countdown for Ink To Paper. All of the new products will be available in the online shop tomorrow, February 20th at 10:00 PM EST. Do you have a list made? I would love to know what your favorite is. I love the variety this month, there are so many great sets that I know you will love.

For my first card I am using the She Blooms Set. This is a gorgeous set! I stamped the girl and her dress in shades of blue (Dark Indigo, Blueberry Sky, Spring Rain and Hibiscus Burst).

For my card layout I used the Border Bling: Skinny Heart Frame. On the inside panel I added a piece of Blueberry Sky patterned paper with a strip of Hibiscus Burst cardstock. I then lightly ink blended Spring Rain ink on the top white piece before stamping my sentiment. Lastly, I added a few sequins as a little added detail.

Do you love this stamp as much as me? It is unlike anything I have. I think it will make a beautiful wedding shower card too.

For my next card I am using the new Effortless Beauties Set. Aren't these flowers just so pretty? I love them!! I stamped them in my go to colors (Hibiscus Burst, Raspberry Fizz, Lemon Tart, Bright Buttercup, Green Parakeet and New Leaf). For my bird I am using the new Feathered Friends Die #8. Just the sweetest! I cut the bird from white cardstock and ink blended it with Hawaiian Shores ink.

Next, I used the Cover Plate: Ornate to create my background. I attached it to an A2 card base and layered my flowers to create a bouquet. I added my feathered friend and my sentiment to finish my card. I love how the Effortless Beauties Set includes dies for the sentiments, makes them so much more versatile.

I hope you have liked all of my release projects! I was definitely busy getting them all done. Please feel free to ask any questions and I will get back to you before the new release is live in the shop tomorrow night. Thanks again for all of your support, I appreciate it.

Enjoy your day,

  1. (Sorry I haven’t stopped by to leave a comment, but your designs are always something I love!) Anyway, Dana, I just love your cards! I was especially drawn to the mini heart frame that you used to “ frame” She Blooms. And the lovely Spring colors and layout of your Feathered Friends is so pretty! I love them both. 😊💖
