Ink To Paper

New Release Countdown: Day 4

April 14, 2021

Good morning friends and welcome back to the final day of product reveals for the new release at Ink To Paper. All of the new products will be available tomorrow night (April 15th) at 10:00 PM EST. Will you be ordering? What is your favorite product from the release? I would love to hear.

My first card today uses the new Blooming Thoughts Set. This stamp set creates the most gorgeous flowering branch. I love the whimsical look.

I stamped my blooms in shades of blues and purples. Then, I attached them to a card panel that I had ink blended with Blueberry Sky ink. Next, I stamped my sentiment (from the Blooming Thoughts Set) onto a circle that I had die cut with the Love To Layer: Scalloped Circle. I wrapped a little white embroidery floss around my panel and attached it to a Lilac Grace cardstock mat. Lastly, I added a few clear sequins as a final touch.

For my next card I combined both the Blooming Thoughts set along with the Feathered Friends 10 die.

I started my card by stamping my blooms (from the Blooming Thoughts set) in shades of pink and yellow. I then used the Feathered Friends 10 Die to create my bird. I die cut the bird from white cardstock and ink blended the pieces with Soft Stone, Sweet Blush along with a little Hibiscus Burst and Summer Sunset ink.

Next, I stamped my sentiment from the Mother & Father Stamp Set onto a rectangle that I had die cut with the Love To Layer: Torn Edges Dies. I then used the next Torn Edges Die to create my panel. I ink blended my panel with Sweet Blush and Lemon Tart ink. I also added a few splatters to my images and background before assembling my card. I attached my images with foam adhesive and layered everything onto a piece of Soft Stone striped paper before attaching it to my A2 card base.

Thanks for joining me for the release. I hope you have liked all of my cards. I honestly can't believe I got them all done... remember how my package got destroyed by the PO? Well, I got 8 cards made in a little over a day! That is definitely a record for me and to say the least I was pretty stressed getting it all done. It felt good to get them made before we left though, and the motivation was being able to enjoy our vacation knowing I had them finished.

Enjoy your day,
