Spellbinders

April 7, 2021

Good morning friends and welcome back. I hope you all are doing well. Today I am sharing a card that uses some beautiful floral dies I was sent from Spellbinders. They are part of the gorgeous line of dies by Susan Tierney-Cockburn. You can find the collection: Here.

I started my card by running the Lily of the Valley Dies through my die cutting machine. I love how all the floral cuts you need to make your lily are included in one die... so one pass through your die cutting machine gives you nine flowers, so easy! Once I had die cut my flowers, leaves and stem I added Distress Oxide Ink to the pieces. I used Mowed Lawn and Spun Sugar.

Next, I attached a piece of aqua patterned paper (Doodlebug Design) to my card panel to create my background. I then used the Fancy Edged Oval Dies to create my background for my floral clusters. I love how these dies can be layered. I added a little Spun Sugar ink around the edges of the scalloped oval before attaching the two die cuts together. To finish my card I stamped my sentiment with the Spring Quotes Stamp Set. Lastly, I added my floral clusters to finish my card.

Thanks for joining me today and thank you Spellbinders for sending my these beautiful products to use.

Enjoy your day,
