Ink To Paper

New Release Countdown: Day 2

Happy Saturday!! I hope you all are doing well and have something fun planned for your weekend. It is day 2 of the countdown for Ink To Paper and I have three projects to share with you all. Remember all of the new products will be available on June 15 in the Ink to Paper Store. You can also find all of the new product information on the Ink To Paper Blog.

First I am using the new Go To Gift Card Holder: Vintage Suitcase. This die creates a pocket (suitcase) and the inside piece holds a gift card and slides in and out. How fun is that? Super easy to assemble too. I added one strip of adhesive on the back flap and a strip of adhesive along the bottom to hold the suitcase closed.

Next, I used the Vintage Travel Set to stamp all of the fun images. I attached them to the front of my suitcase in a cluster but really the possibilities are endless with this set. It is one that I will reach for often when I am scrapbooking too.

This is such a fun set... I kept my suitcase pretty "standard" but there are really so many ways it can be used.

My next two cards use the new Paradise This Way Stamp and Die Set. This set includes a pole and fun sentiments that can be placed on the signs to create a direction signpost.

For my first card, I also included the beach chairs and fire pit from the Better At The Beach set to complete my scene. These two sets work great together.

For my background I used a cloud stencil and Hawaiian Shores ink to create my sky. Then I used the Round Off Edgers Die and Classic Kraft ink to create the beach/sand. Next, I spritzer the background with water before attaching my images. Lastly,  I used the Skinny Frames Diagonal Border Die to create my frame to finish off my card.

My next card uses only images from the Paradise This Way Set. I once again did all of my stamping and added ink to the different signs to create my direction signpost. The little seagull at the bottom is also part of the set.

Next, I used the Border Bling: Postage Frame to create my background. I thought this die coordinated well with the summer/vacation feel of the card. I ink blended the frame with Summer Sunrise ink and once again spritzed it with water before attaching my scene.

Thanks for joining me today. Please feel free to ask any questions and I will answer them right away. I will be back tomorrow with day 3 of the countdown.

Enjoy your day,
