Sweet Scoops

Happy Saturday! I hope you all are doing well and enjoying your weekend. It is so hot here! So I have been staying inside and crafting and reading. I've read over 30 books so far this year. Do you have any good book recommendations? I like a little bit of everything and would love to hear your favorites. I follow Stephanie Howell on Goodreads and tend to like similar books as she does... so I pick a lot of what I read off of her recommendations. 

Back to my card... I bought a few things from the Summer Release at Taylored Expressions. I actually haven't bought anything from TE in awhile but the Sweet Scoops Stencil & Stamp Combo Set was calling my name. 

I started my card by using the Sweet Scoops stencils to make my card panel. I then used the clear mini stamp set to add the detail to the cones. Super quick and easy to make. For my sentiment, I used the Mini Strips Hello Summer stamp and die. This set coordinates perfectly with the whole release. Lastly, I added a small jewel (from Pretty Pink Posh) to each of the scoops as a final touch.
