New Release Countdown: Day 3

Hi friends and welcome back to day 3 of the new release countdown for Ink To Paper. Today we are using a fun new set called, Walk With Me and some amazing new dies called, Vintage Travel Suitcase that make the most adorable suitcase treat box. Let's get started...

My first card uses the new set, Walk With Me. This set creates three pairs of shoes that are so fun and easy to create. There are a few layers to each shoe but I was amazed at how easy they were to line up. I stamped the outline first and then added the detail and color. 

For my card design I ink blended Classic Kraft ink to create my background. I then stamped my sentiment onto the small Scalloped Circle Die. Next, I attached the shoes around the edge of my panel with foam adhesive. Lastly, I trimmed the panel down and attached everything to an A2 card base. 

How cute are these treat boxes? They are the perfect size and can hold a variety of things... small treats, a gift card, candy, etc. My girls were huge American Girl fans when they were little and my daughter said they would be so fun to use as favors for an AG party... I think that is a great idea! Lots of possibilities with these dies.

The Vintage Travel Suitcase Die Set includes everything you need to make the suitcase. The box, handle, luggage tag, straps, corner pieces, etc. There is also a small Vintage Suitcase stamp set that coordinates with the dies. I also used the Vintage Travel Set (previewed yesterday) to add a few more travel icons to the luggage. This step is totally unnecessary though I do love how all of the products coordinate so well.
