Waffle Flower

Hi Friends! I am so excited to be a guest designer for the Waffle Flower Challenge.  This week the challenge is to create a rainbow without using any rainbow products. You know how much I love to mix rainbows with my card making so this challenge was perfect for me!

For my first card I used some products from the latest release, Rainbow Everything. I started my card by creating my card panel with the Quilt Cross Panel Die. This is such a great die, it makes a perfect background! For my sentiment I used the Oversized Rainbow Combo Set. Such an easy card to create...

I created a second card with some "older" products I had in my stash. There are so many possibilities with the challenge, you can really use whatever products you have available.

I started my card by making my background with the Inky Stripes Stencil. I used post it tape to mask off each line and applied dye ink in a rainbow of colors. For my sentiment I used the Happy Birthday Combo Stamp and Die Set. I love the font and size of this sentiment. I attached it to my card panel with foam adhesive and added a few clear sequins to finish it off.

Thanks for joining me today! I hope you get a chance to play along with the challenge. You can win a $25.00 gift certificate to the online Waffle Flower shop. Remember, you can find all of the challenge information here on the blog: Challenge Information

Enjoy your day,
