Papertrey Ink

New Release Countdown: Day 1

Hi friends and welcome to the September New Release Countdown for Papertrey Ink. The new release got delayed a bit due to some manufacturing issues. The release will now be available for purchase on September 22 at 10:00 PM EST. It's such a fun release, I can't wait to share all of my projects with you all.

My first card uses the Sprigs & Sprays: Holiday stamp set. I started my stamping all of my greenery and stems with the Sprigs & Sprays set. Don't you just love the pinecones? Next, I used the new Vase Collection #4 set to stamp my vase. There are two stamps included in this set. There is the solid image and the detail or woodgrain stamp set. I only used the woodgrain and stamped it in Fresh Snow ink onto a kraft die cut. I thought the white pigment ink gave the vase a fun weathered look.

For my card panel, I used a piece of Pure Poppy patterned paper to create my background. I added a piece of vellum to help soften the color a little. Next, I used the Woodwork die to create my "floor". I then used the Skinny Stitched Frame to create my frame for my panel.

Lastly, I used the Just Sentiments: Warmth set to stamp my sentiment onto a black banner. As a final touch I wrapped a little twine around my vase and then attached everything to my card panel.

My next card uses the Sprigs & Sprays Holiday set again. This time I stamped my greenery and holiday florals in New Leaf, Green Parakeet and Pure Poppy ink. I then placed the images onto a white panel that I had die cut with the Pinked A2 Vertical die. I love the brighter colors on the crisp white panel.

Next, I used a sentiment from the Inside Greetings: Season's Greetings set to stamp my sentiment directly onto the panel.

I then trimmed a piece of Weathervane cardstock down to make a card panel. I ink blended a little Fresh Snow ink around the edges and added a few paint splatters for some added interest. Lastly, I added a few sequins as a final touch.

My next card uses the new Into the Blooms Poinsettias dies. These dies are gorgeous!! I love the size and the detail, so pretty. I die but all of the pieces and added Pure Poppy and New Leaf ink with a blending brush. I then added a little white and gold paint to my assembled flowers and leaves.

For my card panel, I used the Border Bling: Tin Stitch die and Aqua Mist cardstock. I then added a panel that I had die cut with the Love to Layer Notched die. Lastly, I used the new Just Sentiments Snow set for my sentiment.

Thanks for joining me today. I will be back tomorrow with day 2 of the countdown.

Enjoy your day,
