New Release Countdown: Day 2

Hi friends and welcome back to day 2 of the countdown for Papertrey Ink. I have two cards to share with you today so let's get started...

My first card uses the new Feathered Friends die set. I die cut the pieces from colored cardstock and assembled the bird. I love the size and shape of this bird, so cute and chubby!. 

For my background I used the gorgeous new Weathered Wood stamp set. I stamped it on a soft stone panel and added a frame that I had die cut with the large Skinny Frame Postage die. 

Next, I used the Sprigs & Sprays Holiday set (from day 1) to stamp and die cut my greenery. I attached the sprigs to the panel and sat my bird on top. I think the sprigs make a nice "nest" for the birds. Lastly, I used the Just Sentiments: Warmth stamp set to stamp my sentiment onto a circle that had been die cut with the Love To Layer: Scalloped Circle die. 

My next card uses the new Border Bling: Snow die to create my card panel. This die cuts a frame of snowflakes around the edge of you card front, so pretty!

Next, I used the Scene Everywhere set from last month to stamp and die cut my frame and scene. I love this set and wanted to use it again. I love how the snowflakes create such a pretty frame or backdrop for the scene.
