Wheatfield Dreams

Taylored Expressions

Hi friends! I am so excited to be sharing a kit today for Taylored Expressions called Wheatfield Dreams. It was designed by my talented friend, Lori Craig. The kit is perfect for fall, masculine cards and so much more. I know you will love it!! The Wheatfield Dreams kit will arrive in a zipper pouch and will include the Wheatfield Dreams Stamp Set and Coordinating Die, a Burlap Background Stamp, 12 pre-printed panels for heat foiling, mini embossing powder in copper, envelopes, and envelopes seals.

For my first card I used the sunflower included in the Wheatfield Dreams stamp set. I stamped the flower in black ink and then colored it with my Copic markers. I then used the coordinating die to cut it out.

Next, I used the sunflower images and stamped it repeatedly onto my card panel in a soft gray ink to make a background. I trimmed the panel down and attached it to my card base with foam adhesive. Then, to finish my card I attached my sunflower and sentiment circle to my card front. I love the sentiments included in this set, they are beautiful and the font is perfect.

My next card uses the wheat included in the set.

I stamped the wheat and once again used Copic markers to do all of my coloring. (Y21, Y23, YR21 and YR23). I then used the coordinating die and cut it out.

Next, I used the Burlap Background stamp to create my background. I trimmed the background down and attached it to the middle of my card base. I left a clean white border for a clean and simple design. To finish my card I attached my wheat and sentiment circle to my card front. Don't you just love these images? It is definitely a set that I will reach for often, so pretty.

My next two cards use the Foil It toner sheets. So easy to make... I ran the card fronts through my laminator with some gold foil and instantly I had beautiful card panel. Next, I ink blended some blue ink around the edges of the panels and then wrapped the panels with twine. I once again used the Wheatfield dreams stamp set to stamp my sentiments, though this time I heat set them with gold embossing powder to coordinate with the foil.  *The foil is hard to photograph but they are gorgeous in real life.
