Hi friends! Today I am back on the Foiled Fox Blog with another card that uses the Spellbinders Betterpress Letterpress System. I am in love with this machine. It's so easy to use and the results are always flawless. Have you given it a try? I know you won't be disappointed!
I started my card by using the Betterpress Letterpress System and the Festive Noel Plate. I added Betterpress Black ink to the plate and attached a Porcelain Cotton Card Panel before running it through my die cutting machine.
I then used Distress ink (Candied Apple, Mowed Lawn, Rusty Hinge and Fossilized Amber) along with a Copic marker (G03) to color the florals and foliage. Next, I splattered the panel with a little gold watercolor for some added detail. I trimmed the panel down and attached it to a Pure Poppy cardstock mat. I then wrapped a piece of baker's twine around a True Black patterned paper mat. Lastly, I layered my panels with some foam adhesive and attached everything to an A2 card base.
The detail on the plates is amazing and I think they make the most beautiful Christmas cards. I hope I inspire you to give it a try!!
Enjoy your day,
